, at an art sale back on May 21, 1977. Both of these renaissance mom’s were amazing women. Raised zillions of children in the bad old days when women’s rights were trampled upon in ways we now think of as ridiculous. Sharon Lynch worked for Inner City Arts Council for a while and produced the chair painting in the style of Jack Beal during the same period my mom, Ann Valent, was riffing on the work of Georges Rouault and Henri Mattisse.
