The Pew Research Group,* along with documentary artist B Kliban, have identified a small but crucial block of undecided voters. Their different stripes, flavors, talents, spinal densities\u00a0and erase-ial\u00a0makeup\u00a0reflect a range of American diversity that social and political scientists have heretofore been unable to ascertain,” Pew’s Ralph Schmortz commented.<\/p>\n

Interviews with the potential voting group confirmed that they remain uninfluenced\u00a0by televised debates and the incessant hounding of\u00a0campaign advertising, whether\u00a0negative, slide, print or digital.<\/p>\n

The Cowboy Food Ventriloquist\u00a0 was quoted (through his pineapple), regarding President Obama, “Squish, squish.” As for Gov. Romney, he summed up his opinion accordingly, “Drip, drip.” Researchers\u00a0confirmed that\u00a0at no time during the interview\u00a0did the lips of the Texas ventriloquist ever move.<\/p>\n

Furthermore,\u00a0in the following scene, Kliban\u00a0documented the now-explicily\u00a0negative effects of negative\u00a0political\u00a0advertising\u00a0on television.<\/p>\n

“Both candidates need every voter they can muster,” Schmortz opined. “This is no laughing matter.”<\/p>\n

All seriousness aside,\u00a0both campaigns still have\u00a0their work cut out\u00a0for them, he added.<\/p>\n

* Just as we should remain skeptical of allegedly factual statements of candidates and their campaigns, Pew advises voters, decided and undecided, to not believe\u00a0everything they read in blogs.<\/p>\n
